  My partner and I loved our first 2 nights at Yialasi so much that we booked another 2 nights here at the end of our wonderful holiday touring the stunning Peloponnese. The family that run it are lovely and helpful, the homemad - I liked everything. Good attitude of owners. Enormous breakfast. Orange juice almost directly from the tree. The view. Furniture and climate control and everything else. Atmosphere related to closeness of Epidavros Ancient site. The surroundings may not be the best. Yialasi is like a pearl in the middle of nowhere. If you really have to stay at Epidavros choose Yialasi!

Wifi worked well in the lobby and the owner told us that next year, it will be also in the rooms (the hotel's specific structure makes the task a bit more complex).   The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful, and the restaraunts were very good. It was within walking distance of the site, but it was a long hill to climb to get back to the hotel. - Probably one of our very best hotel experience in Greece: clean, easy to park, friendly and efficient staff, very good food, very good value for money !

  Maison Viros is a lovely place to stay. It is 2 minutes walk from the village and 250m from the sea so ideally placed. The views of the mountains are terrific with a thoughtfully placed swing seat to admire the scenery.   I would return in a heartbeat! We liked it so much we changed a future night's reservation and extended our stay in this Fabulous Tiny Boutique Hotel! We booked early the same day we arrived and felt very lucky to have discovered Sventoura. They are big, we had a room with a queen bed, 2 bathrooms and a huge kitchen / dining rooms with 3 sofas which become quite big single beds. You can order breakfast from a list and they bring it to the apartment the morning after at the time you want, this is great. Extremely friendly and genuinly welcoming staff. Wonderful surroundings and perfect location for visiting Mystras and Sparta.   Pretty much everything! Views were stunning, rooms extremely comfortable, had a great nights sleep every night. Shower was fabulous as well. Breakfast was fantastic, the Mani bread is SO good and is home made by the grandmother I believe. The staff are very friendly and informative. The father and son made us very welcome. We booked at noon and arrived about 5PM. George was working in the field, but came back to the hotel to greet us and care for us during our stay. The location is spectacular. Mountain walks - streams to swim in. The pool was warm. Despite what other people say it was easy to find if you follow the signs. Perfect - totally relaxing. Our only problem was that nothing could follow the location.

Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.
