  We stay 2 adults + 2 children (9+12) for only one night in the way from Preveza to Poros during the end of august. Location: A quit place with great air ~30 min from the beach road (Xylokastro). The owners are a family and they are very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast: self-preparation by products received the night before. Quite s - Yiannis, the owner, was very friendly,helpful and ready to attend all our needs. Ask him anything you want and he will provide it. The breakfast was just amazing. We could not eat all that was available to us. Almost everything was home made. We were surprised when we were about to go, he gave us plenty of herbs freshly cut from his garden and a complementary bottle of fresh cow's milk. We would recommend it to anyone who is willing to experience Greek hospitality at its best:)

  Pretty much everything! Views were stunning, rooms extremely comfortable, had a great nights sleep every night. Shower was fabulous as well. Breakfast was fantastic, the Mani bread is SO good and is home made by the grandmother I believe. The staff are very friendly and informative. The father and son made us very welcome.   Chrysa was so helpful, warm and friendly. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious! So much homemade food and so good. Small, but lovely outside garden. She even made some special rose jam for us and then presented us with a small jar of it as a parting gift. As others have said, her English isn't fantastic, but it is more than adequate and much, much better than our Greek. We - Chryssa's welcome was incredibly warm and genuine. Her guesthouse is perfectly situated, quiet but within easy reach of the station for catching the wonderful little rack-and-pinion train, and for the tavernas and shops of the town centre. The accommodation is of a very high standard, spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained.   We had a very pleasant and cozy two-day stay in Elixirion in July 2013. Very special atmosphere - rustic, castle-like and elegant at the same time (and with all the necessary facilities as well). But what actually makes the hotel special is the friendly, helpful, hard working people who work their - Maria and Dimitris. Thank you! - What matters the most in every hotel, resort, hostel etc, is the people who run the place. A suite in the most expensive hotel in the world means nothing if the people who are there for you, don't make you feel welcomed and relaxed. Maria and Dimitris did exactly that.
