  We booked an extra night because of the nice atmosphere at this place in the mountains, not far away from Sparta/Mistras. Hospitality and food very good!   My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

Wifi worked well in the lobby and the owner told us that next year, it will be also in the rooms (the hotel's specific structure makes the task a bit more complex).   Faris Hotel has a panoramic view from every room! The hotel is fairly new, rooms big and comfortable with a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view. WiFi worked well. PLENTY of water. We booked at noon and arrived about 5PM. George was working in the field, but came back to the hotel to greet us and care for us during our stay. The location is spectacular. Mountain walks - streams to swim in. The pool was warm. Despite what other people say it was easy to find if you follow the signs. Perfect - totally relaxing. Our only problem was that nothing could follow the location.
