  When we first arrived at Alkyon Apartments we were welcomed with open arms from the host Tasia. We were the first guests for the season so she was really excited to have us there. The apartments were really nice and had everything you need. Tasia had bought us some fresh bread from the bakery and gave us her homemade marmalade too. The place is very quiet and you do need a car to get around the island, espec - Before I even arrived, I got a call from the Hotel asking me to confirm arrival times. Once we arrived, we were welcomed very warmly. The hotel is not a bank of rooms, but a cluster of apartment like dwellings around the central pool area. The water was so clean, birds were flying down and drinking from it. So were some cats! Our suite could hold four people easily - small kitchenette included. Nice balconies.   We stayed at Armonia for 14 days and we loved every minute of it! The room was very clean, looked just like the pictures and the view takes your breath away. It was better that our honey moon! Dimitri and his wife were extremly friendly and helpfull. Lefkada is a beautiful island and we would strongly recomend Armonia for you - Everything was ok. We realy apreciate the human quality of the owners. Very helpfull with all kind of informations. Very nice trip with Mr. Dimitri's personal boat. He refuse any money for that. Big rooms with all you need. Very clean. Nice view, very quiet, nice and worm pool water. I will strongly recomend this accomodation and also the near by tavern "Sea Side" - the best of all Lefkada taverns that we try.

[Here are two travellers tips: (1) during my stay in October the two local tavernas which are really close - We stayed at Exensian Villas in October 2013. It was the best stay we have ever had. The weather was very hot, as if it was summer... The villas are beautiful.   Everything is super !!! Location, voew, room (a lot of space, very clean, storage) & restaurant. The owner is super nice and helpful. Laundry facility in house is a plus. We had a very very nice stay.
