  The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels down in town Hillside is also a much more quite location to stay. Hillside is located about 12-16min walk from town. I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk.   From the moment I arrived all staff were so nice and friendly. The apt was spotless and cleaned everyday. Apt kitchen had everything one would need. Accommodation is very close to supermarkets and bike rental is across the road. Great cycling paths either direction from apt block. Nice breakfast, when we had to run to catch boat and couldn't wait for the fruit course insisted on reducing the, already modest, bill. Lovely people, great atmosphere. Family room huge.   Breakfast was simply excellent, large variety of hot and cold items, nice lounge and lobby area. Room were very clean, perfect location right in the center but very quite at night! - The hotel has been undergoing major renovation to upgrade its star level and the lobby and entrance area are beautiful.   I stayed in Alia during my visit in Rhodes this october, the room i had was spacious on the second floor soundproof with a sattelite tv. The a la carte brekfast in the morning was delicious and freshly prepared for me. All the areas were spotless and the bar staff was so friendly. Thank you Alia - Peaceful and relaxing place, 2 min. walk from the beach. Away from the crowded resorts, but within easy driving distance to anywhere on the Island. The poolside bar and restaurant was very good, including Saturday night live music show and "eat as you can" BBQ on Sunday night for EUR7.50!
