  Very welcoming people. Excellent views of sea and island. Room kept spotlessly clean. Staff always helpful and sorted out a problem of onward travel.   The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels down in town Hillside is also a much more quite location to stay. Hillside is located about 12-16min walk from town. I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk. Accommodation is very close to supermarkets and bike rental is across the road. Great cycling paths either direction from apt block.   I stayed in Alia during my visit in Rhodes this october, the room i had was spacious on the second floor soundproof with a sattelite tv. The a la carte brekfast in the morning was delicious and freshly prepared for me. All the areas were spotless and the bar staff was so friendly. Thank you Alia - Peaceful and relaxing place, 2 min. walk from the beach. Away from the crowded resorts, but within easy driving distance to anywhere on the Island. The poolside bar and restaurant was very good, including Saturday night live music show and "eat as you can" BBQ on Sunday night for EUR7.50!

Maltezana (sometimes called Anilipsi) is our opinion the nicest village, completely unspoilt with a small but beatiful beach.
