I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left.   Casa del Mar was recommended to me by a good friend. I only needed to come to Mykonos for a very short trip; Casa seemed a nice, luxurious place to stay without having to spend a fortune. The truth is I got the best value for my money! Everything, from the first moment of arrival until the moment I left the island went amazingly well!   Very unique place right off the cove behind the Windmills Landmark. The complementary airport transfer, driver pick me up from the airport bring me to Hermes Hotel (Owner of Chora Apartment) and they do the checkin at the hotel.
