The location is perfect ! The grotta is really a nice place ! When you
see it from the Portara, the view is breathtaking ! The walk to the
Portara or to the port is really nice too ! It's a few minutes walk
from the old Naxos. Very convenient. The room had a balcony with a sea
view on the Portara. Really nice ! The rooms are very basically
furnished but we did not care much, as we spent most of the time
visiting the island. The owners are really super nice. I had forgotten

Maria and Nikos who run this place were right friendly and helpful. If aught needed doing they did it quickly and they keep everything such as beds, floors, sinks, cupboards and stairwells right clean. This quiet location is wonderful with views over sea and old town, convenient for buses about 1/4 mile away at port and supermarkets within 250yds.
We had 3 amazing days in Naxos and would like to thank Maria, the hotel
owner, for her warm hospitality and kindness. We had absolutely
fantastic view from our balcony, very clean and comfortable room. They
can arrange free transfer from the port or you can walk (10-15 min
walking). I would definitely recomend this place to visit.
We had an amazing sea view from our small balcony. The location is perfect in walking distance to the town center, port and restaurants. Hosts ar very nice, we were picked up and dropped off at the port. Overall a great choice and great value for money. I strongly recommend this hotel.
The hosts are very nice people. The sea is just under the balcony, 10 meters away. The view is magnificent indeed. The place itself is very nice. It's just a 7 minute walk from the port,the embankment, the old city, but still very separate and quiet, on a hill.
Nothing beats that sea view. The room is spacious and has a kitchenette. It's a nice walk to the port and Naxos Town. Hotel owner will come to pick you up at the port though.
Value for money. Pick and drop off, even its just a 10 min walk. I booked a sea view room and it was one with a nice view with and a sunset.

Grotta beach nearby is stony and there are sea urchins. Some bits of sand to swim from, but not ideal. I think it would be good to let people know that the tap water isn't so good for drinking, but that they can get drinking water from the ΔΙΜΟΣ ΝΑΞΟΥ taps about the town, so people wouldn't use and throw away so many plastic water bottles.
Room was quite small, but it didn't bother us, considering all the advantages.
There should be a shower curtain in the bathroom so that the whole room isn't wet. The bar and hangers where installed only no curtain.
From our room the WIFI signal was not always stable.
