He and his sister was also very helpful with places to see, such as Maganari beach. You all must go there if you go to Ios. Every morning we would be greeted by him and or his sister and made to feel so welcome an - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers. The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

  Modest but very cozy rooms next to a quiet, nice beach. Location perfect (10-15 minute walk up to the city, bars and nightlife). The owner Katerina is a sweetheart! - Accomodation was fine in a great location just a stones throw from a lovely beach. Thank you Maria and staff we may see you next year.

  The location is fantastic, the Nice Beach outside the hotel, the friendly and sweet sisters, that run the hotel. They are so friendly and helpsome, and the little dog Bella is so cute.   Owner dimitrios was absolutely fantastic and was more than willing to go out of his way for us any time we needed. The artistic design of lights and wood in the rooms is really cool also! - The swimming pool was geat and huge!! The desing in the room was fantastic!! Clean room!!
