  The location is a little bit remote without a car, but this provides more privacy. I think it's a very nice location compare to the rather busier and noisier Oia or Fira. The view is superb and you can see both sunrise and sunset on both sides of the hotel. The service of the staffs are second to none.   This was our second time at the Windmills.The pool was pristine and a great asset on the hot days we had.. The accommodation in the windmill is unique and very tastefully done. There is everything you could need with many thoughtful touches such as candles for outside use. Since it is not on the Caldara side, it is much quieter and less tourists. You can be in Ia in 15 minutes so it is no biggy. Close to a small beach that you can walk to. Langas has the same private balcony views and a nice pool (albeit very small) as its luxury neighbors like Astra and Gold Suites, but at far less cost. The manager Vassillis is an exceptional host and gave us fantastic recommendations on things to do on the island. The room was clean and spacious and the seaview was amazing!
