Afroessa is a great place to stay in the lovely Imerovigli part of Santorini. Imerovigli is where you get the best views of the caldera and the view from Afroessa was just amazing. Each room has its own little outdoor seated area so you can sit there and eat breakfast overlooking the cladera. The room is great, large and clean with a big bathroom. Bed very comfy. Also even though it was hot during the day the room was always cool as they are all built into the side of caves. We didn't even have.

Santorini is magic, and Afroessa is drop dead gorgeous.Its location is perfect for day tripping, and a fabulous retreat to sip a wine and wait for the spectacular sunsets from your balcony. A five minute walk following gets to great restaurants, or if a little more adventurous, a 30 minute walk along the stunning cliff side track. Joanna and her staff bent over backwards to make our stay totally pleasurable.I couldn't recommend t. Spectacular views with breath taking sunsets. The rooms were just as pictured on the site. Everything was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The service was excellent with complementary wine and a room upgrade. I couldn't recommend the place more highly and would definitely stay here again!!. Very well located, since its in Immeroviglia... It has great views of caldera / sunset. The hotel is also on walking distance from local bus stop and quite a few restaurants, plus it has a swimming-pool & free wifi. Lovely property in an amazing location. The staff, including the owner and Eddie who does almost everything, including installing a drying rack or us, was outstanding and helpful. We loved everything about Afroessa. Nice staff, quiet but convenient location for bus stop. The location, scenery and staff were exceptional. The view, the room decoration, the balcony. Because this is a tourist mecca, the floating hotels park in the bay and crowd the streets during the daytime with tour groups until about 4pm.Oia the capital is worst hit, so staying a little further away avoided the masses. Nothing, it was truly excellent. The television might be better if in the same room as the bed, instead if the sitting area. Also, complimentary transportation to and from the airport or ferry would be nice touch considering they do not include breakfast. All our other hotels on our Greek holiday provided breakfast and free transfers. there wasn't anything we didn't like. Not enough drawer storage space. There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. A small chest of drawers would be of benefit in our room. Our stay was too short. Shower booth needed. Street signs on the old path are not clear nor sufficient, we got lost a few times trying to find our way back to the hotel.
