  Rooms were of a good size clean and comfy, the included breakfast was very good and very well presented both hot and cold. it was very good that the bus and tram stops were only a 5 minute walk away as we did not have a car, and by bus or tram the U bahn and S bahn were only 5 or 10 minutes away. all staff seemed friendly and professional but so... 别人怎么说 » me did not speak english so brush up on some German if you want to be understood - Beds were very comfortable. Separate shower and toilet areas with sinks in each were great. Free bottle of water and nice fridge were pluses. The free fitness center had lots of space and equipment. Lots of available parking.

  We have stayed at Freisinger Hof 3 times in the past year. For us the location is ideal, in a residential area near Englischer Garten. For your first visit to Munich you might prefer being in the densely touristed area around Marienplatz, but to me this is the place for a return visit. We used the (free) bikes provided by the hotel to ride in eg, which I highly recommend. - This hotel feels very new and modern, though the decor is traditional Bavarian. It is out of city center and very near the English Garden, which is why we chose it for our last night before flying out of Munich. It was perfect for our needs. Staff were very helpful with our several requests (luggage scales, needed tube to transport posters home, dinner reservations, loaned umbrella.) Restaurant was excellent if a bit pricey.
