I stayed here for 2 nights and I have to say that it was all very luxury from bathroom with a walk in shower and excellent water supply, to broadcasts in HD quality with a screen that you could even see from your bed. For the price the breakfast was as complete as possible and even the coffee, mostly very poor in Germany was very good from a machine with fresh beans. They also served full English breakfast and the staff was very friendly and helpfull The beds were very nice to sleep in and the .

The location of the hotel is 5-7 minutes drive from Freiburg. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (perfect English speaking) and didn't refuse to any of our requests. The family room was very clean, beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was excellent too. The hotel is nicely decorated and very elegant.
Excellent room with a huge and comfortable bathroom/walk-in shower. Very clean, new and tastefully decorated. Excellent helpful staff and very nice breakfast selection. Would stay again as a base while travelling the Black Forest area.

The location.
As is was a very hot day when we stayed there, the ventilation was a little weak for such a big room. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the family room. It would be nice to have more English speaking channels on the TV.

One member of staff in the Heuboden restaurant was a rude and arrogant man who was a disgrace to the hotel.
the location is in an industrial area. not very much to do in a walking distance. no fridge.
