  We were quite impressed by this hotel. It was quite clean (everything in the room appeared new) and comfortable with a good bed and plenty of heat. Staff were all great (even letting me torture them with my German) and breakfast was first-rate.   we liked the atmosphere and the history of the building and surrounding area. The cleanliness of the area and the short walk to the harbour etc we would have loved to stay longer - Very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, perfect location for viewing the whole of this very interesting city on foot.   Quiet location. Nice room and a good breakfast. To reach town by foot takes a nice 10-15 minute walk along a footpath that crosses a pond. - We felt very much at home in the relaxing surroundings. It was like home from home. Excellent.
