Very friendly and attending management. Excellent service and polite staff. Shining room with large bathroom in a quiet neighbourhood next to city center. Large breakfast variety. Very friendly for pet lovers. Felt like a family away from home. All in all a unique and moving experience. A simple "Thank You for the hospitality" seems not enough to express our feelings. Manager, as well as the other employees at the reception, very kind and helpful. FM radio at the reception tuned in a station broadcasting a very good selection of American classic melodies from fifties to seventies. Nice suite at the upper floor very comfortable for up to 4 persons.

I also was suprised about the size of the room--it was much bigger than I was expecting (especially the bathroom). I also was very happy with the location of the hotel because it was so close to the Hauptbahnhof and Altstadt. Good breakfast, nice stuff (helpful), cozy rooms. They have a beer vending machine :). Good, small, clean and economical hotel. very nice selection at the breakfast buffet. Good location, on a quiet street but near the railroad station.Staff and location. staff and breakfast. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. The breakfast rooms were homely, and there was free Glühwein in the foyer... Covenient with friendly staff.It is convenient as db is very near. close to city center and "rock im park", good breakfast. Extend coverage of internet wireless to the rooms, beyond the limits of the reception. Hard to find first time. Best to walk thru station on western hall (right most facing front of station) and walk diagonally across parking lot to left back corner. Then Hotel is 2 blocks down on left.not in the lively central area, building a bit old. Entry was by door intercom which did not give me a response first time.my radiator made ticking noises in the night, which occasionally woke me up. For the price paid during fair time it was fine.renovation of the rooms. They only had one set of sheets/towels in the room even though we booked a double. The room was very small and basic for the price.Old. In need of a re-furbishment. I paid a relatively high rate because there was a trade fair on in the city. If I had paid 30-35 Euros it would have been good value for money and I would stay there again. The room space is very small.no internet, no phone, only one man speaks english, room wasn't clean enough. The hotel advertises free internet. The two days I spent there it did not work at all. Bathroom is unacceptable for a 3 stars hotel, The water in the shower had no pressure whatsoever, so it was difficult to take a shower. I paid a relatively high rate because there was a trade fair on in the city.The decor is way out of date - the whole place needs a good makeover and the rooms have an unpleasant smell. I definitely won't be staying there again.

Schöne Brunnen (“Beautiful Fountain”) (1.3 km): This fountain is one of the city’s most famous landmarks, and was built in the 14th century in the form of a church spire.

Rathaus (Town Hall) (1.5 km): The gothic part of this building was constructed in 1332-40, and was redesigned in the 15th century. You can take a guided tour of the prison cells here.
