One of the best hotels we have stopped in , friendly owner and staff , room was immaculate , breakfast superb.Great location just outside traffic restrictions to the beautiful city , only 10 mins walk. Owner also owns a pub/restaurant in the city and gave us 10 percent off the food bill. The meal was fantastic and we were made to feel most welcome. Will definitely go again. Very good quality, tasteful furnishings. Excellent range provided for the buffet breakfast. Sabrina was very helpful with any queries we had for sightseeing etc. A good welcome & loved the Christmas tree & tea/coffee facilities in room. Very restful, clean & comfortable with a good, hot shower. Easy to find, pleasant location & free parking on site.
所有评语 » Agree with all the other reviews- an excellent place. There are differences with the rooms however. There are 5 rooms at the front. The bigger rooms cost a little more, have balconies and a nice view but you may hear traffic especially in the daytime. We asked for a quiet room and stayed in a cheaper, smaller room (Room 6) at the back which was very quiet. Really cheap and balcony rooms good size and very clean. Decent breakfast. Small river across the road. 10 mins walk to quaint old village with eating places / cafe's. Craft and glass making centre over the road. Filled a rainy day on a motorcycle tour stopover. Would use again. Very good all round friendly staff whose English was excellent, as my German is not all that good, good breakfast rooms clean and a few extra touches as well and good location for exploring the town. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in this region. Warmly welcomed by lady from cycle hire shop, accommodation excellent, clean and well appointed with onsite parking. Easy walk into this beautiful old town. Breakfast beautifully presented with an excellent hot and cold choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent each day. Also, the hotel is dog friendly; just need to let them know you are bringing one so you get the correct room. We and our Labrador received a very warm welcome. The hotel with private car parking is the "best" location in Monschau to start visiting the city and the Christmas market!. A pleasant short walk into the town. Excellent continental breakfast, including sausages and scrambled egg. Very clean and comfortable, great staff, free parking, free wi-fi and excellent breakfast. Small welcoming hotel, short walk from town centre, very clean, great staff, no negatives. You have free parking close to Monschau and breakfast was excellent. Excellent location for the town of Monschau. good sized rooms.parking.easy walk to town. Location Clean Staff Breakfast. Good location, friendly staff. Old town but nice. everything. Having to leave!. Thin mattress. Only issue was that I paid the same price for two rooms where one had a balcony and one didn't but that was not the hotels fault I should have mentioned it before. Nothing. The street in front of the hotel. No reception staff on duty after 15:00 although 1 phone call and the owner was there in 5 mins. Our room was next to breakfast room, so from 7am you heard the set up of breakfast and the clattering of dishes. Check in time of 1230-1500 is very restrictive. Nothing. The receptionist the day I arrived did not speak English. The young receptionist on the next days shift spoke really good.
