  Wonderful place to stay. The apartment is very roomy with a fully equipped kitchen. The owners were very nice and the apartment is located on arguably the cutest street in all of Lubeck. The wireless internet worked well and there's a great organic food market right around the corner.

After traveling through Germany for 4 weeks and staying in different cities at similiarly priced hotesl, I can honestly say that Hotel zur alten Stadtmauer was the best experience of my trip. The breakfasts provided were of a remarkably high standard, worth at least five stars. If you are lucky enough to get a front bedroom on the top floor, the views are stunning. The staff were particularly helpful.
