This was the neatest place we stayed, and is really what I had envisioned about Bavaria. Quaint and well maintained building. Adjoining family rooms were big and were perfect for us and two grown kids. Great view from balcony. Very quiet and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great. Very good restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. Just good all around. Enjoyed it.

Incredible place! Barbara and her staff made our stay absolutely wonderful - we hated to leave! Our room was beautifully decorated in traditional Bavarian style and our room had a breathtaking view of the Alps. The room was clean and comfortable, the view from balcony was excellent. Breakfast buffet had lot of variety and was simply deliciuos. Staff was very friendly. Finally, the hotel location could not be better, it is surrounded by nature (located in a hill) and very close to town.

The price was excellent, the rooms were nice with pleasant balconies. The bathrooms were very modern, the lobby had nice couches, vending machines for candy, coffee and beer, and the breakfast and dining area were superb. We received free bus transportation (after paying the 2EUR city tax per person per day) and the bus stop was close to the hotel. It was super easy to navigate the town this way!

Arrived late (midnight), reception desk staffed until 10.30PM. E-mailed hotel in advance and staff very helpful in arranging key for me. Good three-star hotel. Nice continental buffet breakfast. Excellent location beside the station and near shops and cafe/bars and restaurants. Spectacular view of the mountains form the room. Good value for money.

Her network among local restauranteurs and retailers was outstanding so she was always very helpful to recommend the perfect restaurant or shop for our family needs. And she kept our sense of value in mind, and helped us avoid tourist traps. If there was a way to vote for "Innkeeper of the Year" I would vote for Manuela Thier.
