  You should be aware that this is not a hôtel and not Bed&Breakfast (as there is no breakfast), it's the appartement in the city house with 2 rooms and very small kitchen in one of the room.   We stayed for 8 nights, during a trade show, with our two small dogs. The room was really good. You have a fridge, and a kettle, and a lot of storage space, and a nice bathroom with proper bath. The staff was very accommodating, giving us a remote room where our dogs did not disturb anyone even by chance. This is really a good choice if you need a basecamp in Köln! - The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. Great location for exploring the town.

  It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags. We were able to check in early as there was no guest the night before. The apartment is clean, well-equipped and a short distance from shops and U-bahn. If you're happy to walk, it's only 20 mins to the centre. Will hopefully be returning next year!
