  This is a jewel of a hotel. Atop mountain, it sits below a taller mountain with the Wartburg Castle atop it. My room was spacious, with high ceilings and lots of windows. A bit too far/steep for us to walk into town but taxi was prompt and reasonably priced. We wished we could stay longer!

  The staff was very friendly. The hotel does not have internet, so I was forced to switch off my phone, relax and enjoy the stay, which is something very good - Great location in middle of town. Good local food in restaurant. A nice 30 minute walk to Wartburg castle (uphill obviously!)
