  I particularly liked the apartment on Paul Robeson Strasse, mostly because it was only a short walk to the home of my son and his family, but also because the locations are in a lovely, interesting part of Berlin.   Selected this hotel from the Tripadvisor reviews and its location as last time I was in Berlin was about 3-4 weeks after the wall came down and Ku'damm was the centre of everything. Wondered if we had made a mistake by being so far from many of the tourist sights, but in fact it was a good location - quiet at night with a fair few nearby restauran... 别人怎么说 » ts. Once we had worked out that Savigny Platz U-bahn station was nearer than Uhlandstrasse it was very convenient for travelling by foot, U-bahn and S - This was our second visit to Berlin and both times we stayed at the Askanischer Hof. It truly has its own wonderful personality. A large bay window with lace curtains looks out on the K'damm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts are served in an ornate dining room that is full of great conversation pieces.
