The location was excellent with a lot of restaurants, stores, even a market & a laundry facility near by to wash our clothes before our departing to Paris for another 5 days. It was really helpful. Although we had a little scare on the morning of our checking out of the hotel, the emergency alarm went off with the instructions over the pa system to direct guests to leave our hotel room immediately due to a technical problem/fire in a hotel. We had to evacuate by stairs from the 6th floor to.
所有评语 » Very clean, comfortable, well-organised hotel - a bit like a super-hostel! Our room was overlooking the courtyard, so was quiet and we could open the window - our friends overlookong the street found it noisy with the window open. The shower and separate loo was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and quality was very good. Very good choice for a city break - though a bit distant from central Berlin. Make sure you have a Berlin travel ticket and a good map of the S and U- B. Leonardo Hotel is a great place to stay while on a city trip to Berlin. My room was really cosy and had everything I could need. Rooms are a bit small, but very well equipped. The bed was quite comfortable. The hotel personnel was very friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect - it is right in the city center, just 3 metro stations from Berlin Zoological Garden. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a city or business trip - definitely good value for money. The room is big enough with comfortable beds. The airco is working very well even at outside temperatures above 35°C. No street noise came into our room (at the 6th floor). Coffee and tea are available in the room for free. Check-in and check-out is efficient. We could find a free public parking place 1 block away from the hotel. There are enough shops and backeries around the hotel to buy your own breakfast. The hotel was clean, comfortable, well laid out and quiet, and the staff were helpful and polite. The thing that impressed me very much was their " notruf" button, an emergency button for summoning immediate help. This was located in 3 places, by the side of the bed, by the bathroom door, and a drop down cord by the side of the loo. Very well thought out, not many, none that l have stayed in have had that. It is definitely a business hotel. We check in at 9pm, just one room left for us at 2/F. We request for a higher floor for the next two nights and they make it for us easily. 3 min walk to metro but it is a bit off from city. Their Wifi is not free but there are 2 computer at the lobby for guest. The printer is also free, it is best for business traveller. The Hotel was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful. The location of the Hotel is perfect. A metro station in a few meters distance from the Hotel makes the visit of any area of the city easy and comfortable. The area has a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and is offered for shopping. I found everyting to my liking. A very clean comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful checking in. No free wifi in the room. The bathroom is very tidy. The location is away from the historical city centre but there is a good public transport (U-Bahn station 200 m away) running 24h in the weekends. The windows cannot be opened unless with a special key. The only thing l didn`t like was that, in spite of their klima anlage, my room never got warm enough and at times this was uncomfortable, but l still think, apart from that, that this hotel is one of the best l have stayed in. Hair dryer is not clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful checking in, but checking out that all disappears. They make you fell like a burden and in their way. Luckily I dont let unfriendliness put me off, but some people find it important. Paid wifi. Zero. Nothing. There was no bath in the bathroom, just a shower. No free Wifi was provided. The only issue we could think of was that our bath towels were not changed during our 5 day stay :(. i would rather have soap in a bar form instead of the liquid which is provided in the shower for both body and hair. Room was over a busy street, which in Berlin on a Saturday night always means party noise. wifi a bit expensive. More seating downstairs in the lounge area. Expensive water in room. Two single duvets on one double bed. Charge for internet access. Although the room was comfortable enough not to complain, the bed was at right angles to the television, so could not relax in bed to watch tv after being out all day. The parking charge (14 euros) per night is rather high. Nothing. The price of Breakfast and the internet (wi-fi) conections were expensive. Nothing. Breakfast a bit pricey, and the Wifi internet is ridiculously expensive ... around €14 Euro/day. You can rent a car from €19 Euro/day ... just sayin'. I did not like the fact that I did not have free WiFi in the room or the lobby. Also I did not like the fact that we didn't have a fridge in the room. no wi-fi, only two computers available at reception area staff is not very friendly far from city center. very pricey breakfast. Rooms a bit in need of touch ups on walls, doors etc. No bars nearby for drinks except hotel small bar. Paid online at a price more than 10 euros per day is a nonsense. room is not too big but enough. no wifi. The WiFi was too expensive at 12 Euros. No free wifi (EUR 11.20 for 24 hours) but there are 2 internet computers in the lobby - they were very busy and you have to wait. The bed and linen was not the most comfortable. The hotel does not have a pay-per-view so you are forced to watch German dubbed movies/tv shows or CNN (if you want to chill out at home after a busy day sightseeing). The staff wasn't overly friendly or eager to help out. All was great. Location a bit far from the centre of the city but easily reached by metro. No free internet provided in the hotel. Internet is expensive. Had to pay for internet. Having to pay for wifi The only iron/ironing board available was downstairs, in the disabled toilet. This meant carrying one's ironing through the lobby and having to lock yourself in the toilet to do it, as the only plug point was by the door so you would otherwise be hit by someone trying to open the door. The unfriendly and impatient front desk staff.
