Upon our arrival, the staff checked us in and immediately began giving us the rundown of where to go and how to get there. They gave us a detailed map and explained the subway system. They were very helpful and it was very comforting in a foreign country! They even switched rooms for us when the room we were in was a bit to loud for us due to passersby and traffic. The rooms were superbly clean compared to other budget places we stayed at during our travels and the breakfast was delicious!.
所有评语 » It's just 20 min to Tegel airport. But still very close to the city center. There are couple of supermarket (like LIDL etc.) in 7 min from the hostel. Also they have double rooms in so called hotel so you don't have to live in 6-8 person room. Kitchen in the room. The room was sufficiently big. The place was in general nice enough, and it was also a bit fun to stay in a more "normal" neighbourhood compared to the touristic in the city center. Fast enough internet. Very cheap, clean, nice and comfortable, towels, soap provided. Wifi is public, but we were lucky to catch it in our room. Nice staff speaking good English, ready to help with everything. Parking 5 euro per night. 1. Both staff were very friendly. 2. spacious room, beds are super white and clean. calm. safe car parking for just 5 Euro per night. Toilet was also very clean with perfect hot water. Worth for money. Friendly reception, willing to explain how to get somewhere. Minibar @ reception, decent prices (not complete overpriced) We had big room for 4 people, everything was clean, beds were refreshed. The staff was friendly. The apartment was neat and big. The location was 7stops from FriedrichtsStrasse. (centre). The surroundings had shops and chemist and shopping center. Stuff is very neet. I've booked a 6-beded room. It's clean and bequem. The U6 is direct to Fridrichstrasse, U9 is to Zoologischer Garten, very convinient. Spacious room, quite environment and great location near the U-Bahn station. Many supermarkets and restaurants around the neighborhood. This hotel-hostel is located in East Berlin. We had a separate room with a bath and four bunk beds. Good value for the money. The location is great, the subway is just around the corner and stops in the heart of berlin. The rooms are big and clean. Everything appeared to be well organised. Quiet location. Hotel is in other building from the hostel so the common room with wifi is also in the other building. All the rest was great!. Lack of safe in the room and staff unwilling to safekeep valuable items, even small, when I was away running. Breakfast was fair enough but a bit "cheap", and it cost extra (6euro). Internet in the room cost extra (12euro/3 days for 1 unit). Everything was ok. Nothing to say. For us everything went smoothly. Only WIFI available at reception. The shower lacked some power... Prepare your own cup, the hotel does not provide cups. No television; just the basics. Located a bit far from the center of Berlin, but learned to use public transportation. The day we got there we got a staff member that was new and she sold us a wrong subway ticket and when we asked about that the next day we simply got a reply yeah she is new, so she doesnt know everything yet. Which was rude, cause what she sold was quite more expansive. None - it suited our needs. The location isn't ideal, but it's less than 5 min walk from U-ban station to city centre, so not a big deal really. the water of shower is unstable. sometimes hot and sometimes cold. The hostel did not have kitchen facilities. A pot and glasses would have been very helpful. The wi-fi isn't free... Nothing. Room had no glasses or teapots that crazy feel Comfortable. Breakfast is not included, parking is for 5 euros, but you also can park for free on the street. Wifi is only at reception. Staff could be a little bit more friendly. The breackfast. the surrounding environment is relatively dirty with too many cigarette butts on the pavements and the street and too many betting centres nearby. my room is a bit close to the road, the noise caused by traffic can not be completely shieded. No refrigerator in the room. there were no soap for bathing. bad smell in the bathroom. there is not any facalities for cooking such as fork- spoon and.. Mattresses in the room are not comfortable. Breakfast is cheap but very understaffed and lacks cleanliness - recommended only with improvements. Lift broke down regularly so staying on e 5th floor was a hassle. Wifi is horrible!. A bit hot without air conditioning. Wifi is so weak on the 3rd floor. A little bit noisy at night. The surrounding area looks so poor.Not recommended for family. the bathroom is not very clean. Several other people said the staff was very friendly; it was not our case.
