  The hostel has about 4 rooms and is on the first floor of an apartment building on the corner overlooking the street. If you book the 6 bed room then you'll be on the corner. There are two bathrooms and one is an open group shower while the other is private. There is a kitchen area to store your food and a vending machine is there too. It had a bathtub and all the other necessities one could need of electrical ware.   If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

The area is very quiet at night and we saw no trouble.I would highly recommend staying with City Rentals for value for money. Prepare 10€ for deposit for a key and be aware of the fact that you will not be able to smoke neither in the room nor in the yard. But that does not matter so much.
