Beautiful contemporary design. The breakfast buffet provided very good food. The room was spotless. The swimming pool is part of the rehab center and a real find if you want to swim laps. Because this hotel is really part of a hospital, it is rather unconventional. But it is spotlessly clean, and clinically run! The swimming pool doubles as a therapy pool for patients, so may not always be available, but it too was spotlessly clean, and I loved having it. Generous breakfast buffet was included in our special deal, and was good. Car parking was free and plentiful.

It was very clear when we arrived, and we had been very surprised that we found there everything we needed (like all the stuff in the kitchen and bathroom). Rooms are very fancy decorated. Located in Friedrichshain, very near U and S-Bahn stations. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Interesting historical building with an amazing courtyard in centre of the building. Double rooms had a/c which was greatly appreciated in a heat wave.
