An ordinary 'basic' little hotel clean and very functional. Wonderful attentive staff, clearly interested in their work - great on reception and (the same staff) great in the dining room. Since staying here we have travelled over 1,500 km on our tour and found dining rooms with more staff and fewer diners who did not perform as well. The food was good too, a good choice in the menu and very my fish was excellent. Good parking and a quiet location. No trouble to find with sat nav. No air co.

It's location was just right for our touring/sightseeing holiday. the staff were very friendly and the evening dining room pleasant with a good menu. Friendly staff and good service. Location handy to sights around Verdun if you have a vehicle. Tennis court and pool good for social activities. Pleasant,helpful, friendly staff. Food was great. Well sited for visiting the Verdun battlefields and Verdun city is also a short drive away. Meals were very good. Dinner. In particular, was getting close to being gourmet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The inn connected me with an English speaking tour guide for personalized ww1 information. Superb!. Dining room, good menu and friendly and helpful service. Nice garden and small an quiet bar inside. Sitting outdoors around the pool and in the patio/garden area was refreshing. Nice breakfast room, breakfast menu and bar availability served our party quite well. A good value for the money and the staff was helpful and friendly. Friendly , helpful staff. Despite the late hour of our arrival managed to find us something to eat. Perfectly ok for a "driving through" over-nighter. Restaurant on site which is handy as the hotel is quite a walk from the town centre. Rooms are basic but adequate for an overnight stop. The French 'feel' no British residents. Comfortable bed.. Breakfast very basic - no replenishment when out of croissants for example. Maybe some should be saved for guests who are not there on the dot at the start of breakfast. Coffee not great. our shower --the door was difficult to stop from coming off the runners and the spray was not good. I stayed on the top floor which moved quite a bit, could be noisey undrrneath for others but cannot confirm this. Room was quite hot aa no airconditioning but room cooled once large windows opened. No tea or coffee facilities in room, but a minor quibble as this is normal in many European hotels. Could use more English signage. Nothing. Nothing. Rooms were somewhat small but we spent little time there due to the fact that we toured all day. Small basic accommodation but only to be expected for the money. Wins the prize for smallest shower ever. 9 euros for breakfast! The croissants weren't even fresh. The description of the room said lake view with dressing room - no lake or dressing room. A bit far from the centre of Verdun, so needed to drive. Rather small room and very narrow space on one side of bed. Restaurant closed on Sundays. The room is too little and prefabricated. Hotel is chronically understaffed (no doubt to keep costs down). One friendly waitress was covering the whole of the dining room during dinner. Consequently we waited 1 hour 10 mins until we were served with our starters. The whole meal took 2.5 hours. bed very hard. Restaurant closed on Sundays and being on motorcycles all day we did not want to have to ride into town for a meal. The first room we were allocated had not been made up from previous clients. The staff were indifferent to us. There is an air of neglect nothing like the promotional detail. I expected a lot better from "Logis" One to avoid.
