Very good value for money hotel, clean and recently refurbished. 2 minutes walk from the (excellent) market and the main square, yet down a quiet side street away from main roads. The best pillows I have stayed in when in France. The hotel is verycentral to the key bits of the town and close to the beach. There isovernight free parking outside the hotel and 2e per hour parking (freebetween 7pm and 9am) within 50 yards, so lack of parking within thehotel is not an issue. Both the reception staff were very helpfulindeed. Plenty of magazines to read available in reception.

Welcome excellent. Room adequate for overnight stay. Basic continental breakfast but plenty of food. Secure hotel parking spaces or lock up garage both at the same price. Public parking available, free or metered.The owner was very attentive, security was great, breakfast was not lavish but pretty good, availability of undercover car parking, although extra charge it was worth it. Excellent staff, very nice and helpfull. Your own garage box for the car and free wifi internet. 2 minute walk to the car less city center.The location for visiting historic Troyes was excellent, less than 5 minutes walk. The staff were extremely helpful. Very friendly and helpful staff and good central location.Excellent location between the old town and the cathedral district, justa 5 minute walk from both of these points. Secure parking. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff (one gentlemanthat we saw - Very small hotel). Lock up garage. It was near enough to the town centre and restaurants to walk. Also there is secure parking with electronic security gate, but you do need to book as space is limited. The Manager was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. Clean towels on the second day were appreciated. kindness of staff. proximity to the city centre. At first the shower and sink did not give warm water. But towards theend of my shower it suddenly became hot. I am not quite sure why thishappened but it is not something that would stop me from going to thishotel again. Bathrooms rather small, and a slightly musty smell...as if we were the first guests of the season...but very clean and warm.old dated rooms redecorated . funny smell. nothing. Pillows to soft and bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The room was basic to the point of being spartan. The breakfast was limited.The room was spacious but seemed a bit lacking furniture..just a bed,chair, table and wardrobe, nothing more.. Room a bit tired and basic.Poor sound insulation. The room was very basic but comfortable. The showerwas really small. it is under new management so the new proprietors may do some upgrading.The bedroom was a bit short of furniture and shelves etc. Only 1 table and chair and open hanging space. lack of furniture in the room. The beds and pillows were particularly lumpy and old.
