For a 2 star hotel the room was clean And tidy. The food was great. The beds were extremely comfortable. Great family room. Very accomodating with the menu we swopped dishes to suit what we liked. The staff were very friendly and happy. We enjoyed our stay fod the price we paid.
We arrived by bicycle and the staff were helpful allowing us to put our bikes in the garage. The hotel is only a 5 min walk into the pretty town. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, very French and delicious.

We liked almost everything, the room, staff, food, hotel and area. Owner has put a lot of thought and effort into this family run business - excellent.
great village, romantic hotel restaurant terrace, menue good quality for money, very clean. Budget hotel. Etc etc.

Humm the decor was interesting - our room was quite brown! The floor was lino covered and so noise travelled from the other rooms. The bed had a plastic sheet which was quite hot and rustled everytime you moved. Although to be fair our friend had a normal sheet in his less brown room! The hairdryer was pretty pointless, breakfast was ok but it would have been nice to have some brown bread or cereal that wasn't sugar coated.
Owner allowed dogs in restaurant. Not realistically safe to go for a walk directly from hotel (no footpath).

Room was a little basic. Road at the front of the hotel was quite busy so room was a little noisy.

No e-mail correspondence (I contacted hotel about my out of hours arrival. Had to phone. Language difficulties, little or no English spoken) Only soup as vegetarian option on menu. Expensive. Stair carpet shabby. Dim lighting along landings and stairs. Could hear TV and movement through thin room walls.
The rooms were a little small and outdated. Breakfast was a little disappointing.
