  The location in the centre of the Beaujolais area was perfect for touring around, lovely countryside to explore as long as you have a car. Only about an hour from Lyon airport. The chateau is set in its own vineyards (producing mostly Brouilly wine) and the rooms have been restored beautifully. Just about the nicest place we have stayed.   What a great place to stay! The wonderful drive through Provence to reach the B&B was just magical. We arrived and the owner was absent but check-inn was easy and self-explanatory (in French).   I was nicely surprised by the owners' warm welcome and hospitality. Everything about the hotel is perfect. I can't think of a better place to stay at Aubenas. I will highly recommend Hotel Eliza M. to everybody. - Helpfulness and friendliness of owners. Very comfortable, quiet rooms.
