  The town of Azay-Le-Rideau is beautiful, and a great stopover between Calais and SW France. Lots of bars and restaurants to explore, nice bar by the river for the children to paddle in. Breakfast in the courtyard was a wonderful way to start a day (and we are still wondering about the horns embedded in old wall...) For a family of 4 this hotel was an excellent

  A delightful experience all round. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. We had a garden view room which was wonderful with a comfy canopy bed. Yes it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room (see other reports), but it's available on room service and they were happy to provide us with a kettle. There are lovely countryside views - Just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful Logis, located in beautiful countryside yet within ten minutes of towns and chateaux. The garden rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool and tennis court immaculately maintained. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Excellent food is served in a very inviting room and I'm already looking forward to returning.
