  Our hosts were so welcoming and so very friendly that we wished we could stay longer. The room we had was very spacious, the kitchen has all you need, there is a small lounge area as well. The owner, who I believe had renovated the whole place has such a fine eye for detail that the quality of the furnishings and fittings are outstanding.   The cozy 2 bedroom accommodation was clean and nicely furnished. I can't go too much further into the review without noting that English speaking staff were available upon late check-in (somewhat of a rarity in France).   The hotel was modern and welcoming in a traditional village square just outside Deauville and Honfleur.The owner was wonderful and suggested a local restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast was exceptional and all the ingredients were locally sourced. It was a very comfortable stop off on the road south.   My friend and I had a comfortable, roomy and clean triple room with private bathroom, quiet at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and scrambled egg and French type bacon. Only about a 10 minute walk to the station for the shuttle bus to Giverny for Monet's garden and a good bar for an evening - Vernon is very close to Giverny (4 kilometers) which is why we chose this hotel. It was quite reasonable for 2 nights at 176 Euro. Basic hotel rooms....no frills but fine and clean. Restaurant good and lounge for drinks for tea very comfortable with leather overstuffed chairs. Staff very helpful. Walking to the village, church, museum and restaurants within minutes. Sweet village.
