  Although there are a range of photos on the site, it really isn't possible to do justice to this lovely hotel. It has been very sympathetically updated and has a real wow factor. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and it is really well situated for those arriving by car a... 别人怎么说 » s it is on the edge of the historic centre, where some of the streets are very narrow, but is only about 5 minutes walk from all main buildings, rest - Restored half timbered ancient building - lots of oak beams - spiral oak staircase - spacious room - very clean - central location next to the cathedral with no problem parking in the one-way cobbled street outside the front door - superb continental breakfast with option of cooked if wanted (but we settled for the Continental)

  We loved our stay at Le Champ Des Oiseaux in beautiful and charming Troyes. The hotel was so historical but beautifully restored and very comfortable. We stayed in a room on the top floor and although there was a steep staircase to climb it was amazing and the view over the art museum next door was superb.   Great place to stay for en-route drive to the Alps. Very clean, friendly and great value for money. Also, very handy on-site restaurant which again was very reasonable with great food (especially the raclette :). It's probably about 15 mins drive to hotel from the e17. There was almost a minor issue when they didn't seem to be expecting 3 families which I booked - not sure - The hotel was very clean, welcoming and accommodating. I was travelling with my family and we needed to break up the journey. Great place to stay, calm and with a garden where the kids could play after dinner and a long day sitting in the car. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

  Another fantastic night - always a treat to stay here. A great stopover enroute South or North. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and yet another amazing meal. We aim to come back and stay for longer just to look around Champagne. The village is beautiful and you can walk to champagne tastings in the adjoining villages. The restaurant Le Marius looked really good but we were disappointed that we didn't get to try it. Would recommend for any stay other than Sunday/Monday.

  The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful, the area surrounding the hotel was beautiful, the hotel had a pool, quad biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, archery, bike hire and golf club hire all at very reasonable rates. The selection of (local) champagnes is one of the best we've found in France and not overpriced. Altogether an excellent stopover in a charming small town.

  Stayed overnight with our granddaughter as we were travelling to a ski resort. Delay on Euro-tunnel meant we would not arrive until after reception shut but a phone call to very helpful lady meant we were informed of our room number and the key left in the door for us. - The off street car park was very re-assuring with a fully loaded car.
