  Excellent location - near the station for those travelling by train, and for those with a car, parking facilities are available either in the hotel car park or close by. The decor is lovely - an old style hotel but beautifully maintained.   This was absolutely beautiful experience. The place itself is magic, full of history, however nicely kept/remodeled with the respect of Medieval style. The panoramic views were breathtaking. There is a clean large pool overlooking the castle. We also splurged for a luxury dinner.   Rooms are a good size, modern and the location is excellent. Ask for a room on the river side. Town is a short walk and parking was free and in plentiful supply when we went in August. The restaurant is very good but not the best option if your children are not gourmet eaters. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A fridge in the room was useful. We had a balcony overlooking the river and we enjoyed the swimming pool and loungers. Would recommend the restaurant, had an excellent meal. But book early as terrace space soon gets taken. Free parking is a bonus.

  It's closeness to town, very good breakfast, friendly staff - Good middle-range hotel in a city not over-endowed with hotels. Friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. If we were going back to the city we would book this hotel again.
