Everything, the hotel and location are perfect, the staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's a very well located hotel near the metro and bus stations, in a good and safe neighbourhood. The metro line taking me to the hotel is the same crossing the main touristic destinations. The staff is nice and helpful, always receiving guests kindly. I didn't have any problem at all in paying with credit card, which was very convenient. I got an inner room, which made my stay very quiet.

Although the directions to get to the hotel from the airport were very accurate, once in Metro St. Paul it's difficult to find the hotel; an additional indication is needed. There were no lift, no internet, no remote control, but the staff was efficient enough to provide alternatives or help with the baggage. As stated in other comments, the shower is tricky, but always has hot water. Claudia, Méx. 1. The second-to-last day (of 7) of our stay, the hotel came in while we were gone and completely rearranged the room--all the furniture--and left a mess; that is, lots of sheetrock dust on the floor and on some of our personal items. They could have vacuumed this all up quite easily. Plus, the hotel could have warned us of this change. 2. The walls are paper thin, so one could hear everything. it was too small but cosy. stairs with no elevator. size, no elevator. Towels could have been bigger. The rooms are very small and the walls are paper thin, you can hear other guests walking up and down the stairs.The shower is very small... But the biggest problem was the use of it...(you had to push a button for water..all the time) and i didn't have any warm water on one day... still quite expensive for such a tiny room - but I guess that is expected for a room in paris/marais. not heating + big window in bathroom made it cold. Our room was on the 5th floor... without elevator. We knew this in advance, but still it is a long stairway;-) The staff, however, helped us with the luggage at arrival and departure.Breakfast was very poor for the price (€6). Terrible odour in the bathroom (probably came out of the sink), could not be fixed permanently by staff, even after complaint.They failed to replace toilet paper and towels on our second day. Wewere also all locked inside the hotel during the first morning becausethe man on duty had locked the door and gone to attend to some problem. weird shape of the room up in the attic, small room and no elevator. It did not mention that there was no elevator. The room was very basic, even though it was the less expensive option I was surprised at the low level of the room. The hotel was in poor decorative state although clean it was undercertain construction. We had to climb past plasterboard in the hall way.There was no indication that our rooms were on the fifth ( 99 stairs)and sixth ( 118 stairs ) floors and no lift until after the owner hadinsisted we pay the bill in full on our arrival. We found a muchcheaper, newly decorated and a lift within 100mtrs. the room was ridiculously small, it was on the 5th floor = 99 steps no elevator, the tv did not work properly, the bathroom was tiny. The decor was dire and not welcoming (wallpaper held up by borwn parcel tape) . Our rooms were on 5th and 6th floor respectively and there was no lift (99 stairs to bed for mum and 119 stairs for me!) - there was no lift and this caused problems as mum has back and hip problems. My room up on 6th floor was a "box" room under the eaves - not for the claustrophobic!. Dry rot towels, No food or bottle water available, pillows had sweatstains, room are very small, bathroom had no shelving, was more of aHostel, than a hotel. wallpaper in the room was falling off the wall and held on with sellotape. Building work room unfinished. the rooms.
