Great location, lovely authentic Parisian hotel feel (five floors of winding staircase); little balcony and view over trees onto the square below and of rooftops; a block or so from the Metro on a good central line, the accessibility of the restaurants, cafés, bars and designer shops of the Marais. A great place for a solo woman traveller to mix business and pleasure. On the fifth floor - no issue with noise despite cafés and bars below.
所有评语 » the location was incredible. the hotel was clean, very pretty and quaint, and the rooms and bathroom were a good size considering other hotels in Paris. We had enough room for two large suitcases and were still able to walk around vry comfortably in our room. The view from our balcony was of Hotel de Ville. I cannot stress enough on the amazing location this hotel was in!. An absolutely delightful hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has paintings and photos covering the walls. The breakfast room is like stepping back in time. The bedroom was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Double glazing kept the noise of the traffic out. The owner is just wonderful as are all the other staff. A sensational stay,. The location was excellent for exploring Paris Centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Air conditioned rooms which enabled windows to remain closed and blocking most of the street noise. Lots of cafes in area serving good food and internet café to allow for email and printing needs. Lady at check in counter is friendly. She was helpful to book a cab for my transfer to Airport good location, surrounded with eatery, cafés & restaurants. Walking distance to Norte Dame. Room is Ok for the price, tiny bathroom but clean. Overall, Value for money. Friendly welcome and very accommodating night staff. Clean rooms, and excellent location. Very grateful to have a lift as being on the fifth floor it would have been impossible for elderly folk (for which my Mom is) to climb the spiral staircase. Air conditioning was a blessing during a very hot week in July. It allowed us to sleep in comfort. The room was clean, small, comfortable, and reasonably priced for Paris. The location was exceptional. Perfect downtown location. Very beautiful old fashion rooms. For the night we booked, the rate was really unique for a hotel only 10 minutes walk from Notre Dame!!!. A bit small bathroom but not a big problem. the room desing was a bit over the top with the wallpaper and carpet colors. It was all good!. the room was too small, shower space too tight, internet time too short. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. the breakfast could be a little nicer the toilet also had an inherent unpleasant smell. services can be improved, particularly room-making. The breakfast coffee could be better. Rooms and mainly the bathrooms are really small. Could have used a change of towels. Street Noise. bathroom. no shower curtain and shower facility in general. breakfast, easily to take it outside the hotel . Really everything was fine, no complaints. Yes, the bathroom was tiny and the shower was tinier, but it wasn't an issue. We never found an English TV channel. The staff was competent, but not what I would describe as "friendly". Just normal everyday service. The breakfast was fine, a good start to the day, but got a bit boring after the fourth day. Really, I think it should have been included in the room rate. Room for improvement for the room's cleaning. The staff seem to show little interest. The bed was small and it and the pillows needed replacing. The bathroom, and in particular the shower, was tight. It could be a little bit cleaner. Adjacent cafe was noisy late into the night and made sleeping with an open window difficult. The matresses are way bad. Your back hurts after sleeping on them. The bathroom towels are soiled rags too. Fix these two things and this would be an awesome place to stay. Bathroom looked a bit old. You must leave your key at the desk if you go out, and, after 1 am, you need to ring the bell to get in. Very Very poor breakfast. At a cost 0f 7 £ you get only one dry bread and a croissant and a juice they call it continental breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels through letsbookhotel.com but no where did I get such minimal breakfast at that cost!!!. Very poor and expensive breakfast. Cramped Low value breakfast. Not too clean. The poor breakfast, the street noise (Rue de Rivoli!) even at night, the room too hot. Had to carry luggage upstairs to the first floor as owners did not allow its use. Staff weren't friendly or welcoming at all. Bathroom needed updating. Room needed re-decorating. No tea or coffee making facilities. The price/quality ratio is very poor. I had pain in my back after a night sleeping on the bad matrass. The room is barely cleaned, especially the bathroom. Lot of dust.
