We much appreciate for their hospitality! We have been surprised to see how wonderful and huge the house is. It's very well furnished, designed and cosy with a nice view.   I had a ground floor room overlooking the nice garden which was ideal as I was traveling with my dog-who was made very welcome by the charming owner! The room itself was fine (v comfortable bed), clean and the bathroom more than adequate. The food in the restaurant was first-rate with a good wine list. Room had a veranda, lovely as weather was good. Plenty of parking spaces. Next to river, lovely but lots of flies - spray delivered to room.
