I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were helpful and pleasant. -

We stayed in a very good room (small but very nice). We were very well attended, even when we realize that the announcement was booking with items that do not exist in the hotel. For example, with bath. They justified that was incorrect information and we provided one of the breakfasts as courtesy. I recommend it strongly.

Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. Rooms are small but clean, and staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming. Metro stops Ambroise and Voltaire are within 3 minutes walking distance while place de la Bastille is a mere 6 minutes away by foot. On your way to Bastille is the lively Rue de la Roquette with plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.

They didn't steal anything from the room
The room was small but very pretty for how little we paid
The metro station is 1 min away and if you walk straight you arrive at Place de la Republique which has plenty of bars and places to eat. Not expensive

In fact I didn't stay at the hotel but booked it for two of our grandchildren and a friend. They enjoyed their stay and found the hotel very convenient for the Gare de Lyon and transport to Charles de Gaulle.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. If you want to spend a lot of your holiday in your hotel room, I would not recommend it. However, if it is a place to rest your head on a budget, then it is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English.
