Location is very good: 1min walk to Voltaire Metro station (just around the corner) and 30min - Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. Rooms are small but clean, and staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming. Metro stops Ambroise and Voltaire are within 3 minutes walking distance while place de la Bastille is a mere 6 minutes away by foot. On your way to Bastille is the lively Rue de la Roquette with plenty of nice little restaurants and bars.

  Very friendly and helpful staff.  We had a free upgrade to the executive room and they are massive rooms with the biggest bed you've ever seen. Very nice bathrooms with shower and bath.  We had a street facing room and the noise was no problem at all.   Very good location, excellent breakfast in smoll and nice restaurant. Clean room, very helpfull staff. Nice, easy atmosfer. Tt was a pleasure to stay there. - I like its location/ambiance/staff / everthing about it - 3rd time I have visited - good value for the money - I will definitely go back there!
