This hotel was precisely what we presumed it would be -- a fine affordable alternative.   Stayed for 3 days and was sorry to leave, could easily have spent a week or longer here. The lady on the reception who is also the owner was lovely, very helpful and friendly and spoke great English as our French is limited to say the least.
