I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. I have stayed in the Excelsior several times and as I have friends who live in Nice and I can visit them easier as I now know my way to their house. I first stayed in the Excelsior with the Travel Department. I found both the rates and the location were good. - Location was very convenient. It was close to shopping, eating and sights to see.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly staff, not luxurious but forthe price it was certainly great value. Location is superb, cafe'sand shops on the doorstep, 5 mins walk from the Promenade de Anglais,old town ten mins away. Didn't have any food - went to theBoulangerie across the road.
