This was well situated within easy walking distance of the castle, and with a shockingly good bakery right across the road. The room was tidy and clean, and the beds were very confortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and serviced the room daily. They also were very patient with my schoolgirl French. We didn't try the breakfast ( thanks largely to the all too tempting cakes on offer across the road), but it did look like a good selection and seemed very popular. It was very good val.
所有评语 » Great price, free secure carpark comfy bed and its a 15min walk to La Cite. But In the hot summer sun the walk to La Cite is punishing. No footpath or shelter, older travelers should be careful. Because of this we drove our car back to La Cite at 8pm, and the was free at this time in the evening. Hotel in perfect location for visiting the Medieval City of Carcassonne. Staff friendly and helpful. The ring on the blind was broken and fixed instantly. Breakfast fantastic with choice of fresh fruit salad, fruit juices, croissantes, fresh brewed coffee and lots more. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great for the price and the walled city was within a very reasonable walking distance. A great place to stay. within 15 minutes walk of castle which has reasonable restaurants within the keep. easy 15 minutes drive from airport with petrol station just before you turn off to top up rental car. A 15 minute walk to the cité of Carcassone, on a busy street. Good isolation of windows, didn't hear the noise from outside. Cheap acommodation with good standard. Location was great. Just outside the main village so prices were cheaper and really great (walking distance) location for Carcassonne castle. The hotel was well situated, close enough to stroll to the walled city. Perfect for a one-night stopover on the road while visiting Carcassonne’s La Cité. Check in/out is very easy due to the fact that no key is required for the room (a code is provided). Very good price. The hotel was a little noisy at times overnight. This wasn't noise from outside or from neighbouring rooms, but came from the corridor. I have to assume that we had some VERY noisy people staying at the same time as us. Don't bother with the breakfast, just metres down the road is an excellent patisserie. The sink was by the bed, and a strange plastic toilet & shower pod which made it feel like you were staying in a hospital room. Shower hose kept falling out of wall fixture making it awkward to shower. However, I am sure this will be attended to immediately. loo and shower are cubicle style functional but feel very cheap. On a busy street leading to Carcassone. I didn't like the shower and toilette. The rooms were quite clinical - loo and shower were the kind of 'pods' you find in caravans. The 'secure' parking round the back was never locked, even though we were given the code to get in! The newer part of Carcassonne (what we saw of it at least) left a lot to be desired. Beware of the prices in the nougat/dried fruit shop inside the walls!!!. No complaints at all for the price. at this price it would be churlish to complain. Expensive breakfast although no limit to amount eaten or time spent over breakfast. Too small room. The Wi-Fi signal was so poor in the bedroom it was unusable. It may have been ok in the lounge area - we didn't try that. Nothing. staff had little knowledge of local buses into the main town and the station. Easy walking distance of La Cite but a bit of a hike to La Bastide (main part of town). If you don´t have a car, you need to like walking, or to study the bus timetable carefully - they don´t run very frequently. Not good smell at the room because of toilet. The rooms were spartan and the bed was hard. Mattress too hard, not enough pillows. The bathroom is basic. The beds were shocking! They were six legs connected to a piece of flat wood (not the usual Ibis type of bed) with a soft mattress on top and the board creaked with every move during the night. Changed rooms but bed not much better. Come on ACCOR fix these beds!. Noisy, budget hotel. No meal options or drinks. Bunk bed not changed for the second night stay. You have to pay an aditional fee for breakfast, and the toilette looks like an airplane toilette. Also it is outside the city an if you go without a car you have to walk 15 minutes to the old city and 30 minutes to the city center. Some distance from La Cite and Centre Ville. Musty smell. A little dated and basic but as expected for the price. Extremely basic furnishing, not even a chair in the room. It was a triple, but the single bed was a high narrow bunk, running horizontally over the small double bed. The single bed was for my son who is 4 years old, but there was a warning on the bed, not for under 6year olds. I had emailed the hotel when I booked the room regarding the ages of my children. They also supplied a travel cot but it was such bad quality I had to have the baby in the double bed with myself and my partner. It is pretty basic, but what can you expect for the price. Longish walk to the castle area. 1) The location is good. It is not far from Cite but the way from the Hotel to Cite is not good especially at night. 2) It was very-very noisy. It seems that the walls are too thin. Broken items (window shade, shower holder). Pillows extremely flat and uncomfortable,no bathroom only a tiny toilet and separate shower room.No wardrobe or any kind of storage available.Towels very small. The location was not as good as advertised. Small room, but you get what you pay for! Noisy A/C. breakfast facilities limited but its a budget hotel so i suppose you can't expect. No restaurant within easy walking distance. Room layout is odd, e.g. toilet is unitary with no separate seat. Cost was greater than expected for facilities provided. the room is very small, but ok for the price.
