Friendly and nice-to-talk hosts, cozy lobby and our room, charming flavour of old good house. At the same time all modern facilities are in place. Wi-fi worked fine. The garden was great. The sculpture added a nice touch. The designer touches were evident everywhere, but suitably under-stated. The staff were warm and friendly and thoughtful. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey by English standards, but was actually excellent value compared to other places we tried in Biarritz and environs. -
