Lovely proprietor (and dog); very welcoming, good location in the centre of Beziers only 10 minutes from railway station, bus station and the old town. Typical french house, small rooms, little balconies. It is a budget option, with no breakfast room or bar, not a smart hotel and the decor is a little dated, but the beds are comfortable and it's very clean with plenty of hot water. And the street was quite quiet at night.

Nothing is too much trouble for her, and this hotel has become my home in France. I stayed here last year, had to come back because I loved it, , and am more enthusiastic about it than ever. Vive la France et vive l'Hôtel Confort!. A great hotel - thanks to its wonderful hostess. She helped us in every concievable way in a difficult situation (the unannounced strike on Beziers airport, from which we would have travelled the next morning). But also in non-emergency situations you are served in a lovely manner, with nice breakfast, good advices about the town etc. A hotel that I'm going to come back to and can recommend to others. A warm, welcoming hotel. The room was spotless, and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a convenient location for the bus and train station and to explore the city. A fabulous breakfast could be purchased for six euros. We were able to hire bikes nearby for a cycle ride down the canal. We had a great few days in Beziers and would definitely go back to this hotel. In the centre, not too long a walk from the train station. During the day most of the walk there is through via a very nice park. Mary, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Our only reason for visiting Beziers was to stay overnight ready for a Ryanair flight back to the uk the next morning. My room was spotlessly clean. The furniture was carefully chosen and gave the room a cosy, homely feel. The facilities were perfectly fine and fresh. I didn't access the internet while there so I can't comment on connectivity. The lady owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would stay there again. Especially the care and attention that Marie gives to her guests and little touches like a lavender bag in the room. Her English is excellent as well. If I ever go back to Beziers then this is where I'd stay. It's also by the main plaza and a short walk from the railway station. Excellent value for money, good location and base for visiting Beziers. The proprietrix shows a genuine interest in her guests and offered us all the info we needed to have a good time. Chez Toi, Chez Moi restaurant recommendation was great. Very nice place. I felt comfertable and Marie is so nice and helpful. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. The room very cosy. And a GOOD madrass. Close to the railwaystation and the old town. The propriter of this hotel is very friendly and helpfull, also speaks fluent English this is my second time i stayed at this hotel and nothing has changed exceelent value for money. Marie was so kind and helpful, and the room was small, clean, cosy and had tea/coffee-making facilities. Clean towels etc both days and info. re. town and area. The hotel was walkable from the railway station and picking up the shuttle bus for the airport. The manager was very friendly and helpful. A reasonable cost. Very friendly & helpful. Not a palace, but clean & comfortable and a good position. Gave good advice- where to eat, shop, transport. Easy walk to the station (c300m), fine for overnight stop. Advised I would be late by text and received positive response. Hotel is old and a bit ramshackle but this gives it character and they could not be more welcoming, friendly or obliging. As we are rating this as a *budget* hotel, there wasn't anything we didn't like about the hotel. We didn't find Beziers wildly interesting. It is interesting purely as a low cost as airport town. Nothing really the previous reviews say it all. Nothing. There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Bathroom door sliding off its hinges, but Marie aware and will fix!. The room was an adaquate size with a small ensuite. Room at the front so was some noise (music) although I did fall asleep so this must have stopped later on. Hotel is close to busy street so may be some noise. Curtains not adequate to shut out street lighting. Limited privacy due to exposure to apartments on other side of street. Beziers is a city that is becoming quite tatty. Bedroom was quite cold because the window was single glazed and only had a thin curtain over it. Shower and WC area cramped. Not particularly well kept.
