Decor was really different from usual hotels and bedroom very quirky and comfortable. The hotel is part of an old cloisters and will be even better when the renovation of the cloisters is completed. The area is very quiet and the hotel is situated in the middle of the nearby Roman antiquities. The staff were very welcoming and the continental breakfast used excellent local produce, including a good variety of fruits and different/unusual spreads.
所有评语 » The location is perfect in the old city, very close to the Roman Theatre and Ampitheatre. The hotel is part of the ancient church cloistres and has been modernised by integrating modern comfort and chic design, with the original 12th century construction of the building. The staff were very helpful ad the breakfast was first class. We originally booked for 1 night but stayed 4 nights. this is definitely on the return list. Excellent value for money. Great location. Steps to market on Saturday and all attractions. New receptionist being trained was lovely and welcoming. Room was a very big as was the bathroom. Rooftop terrace was very romantic. I would recommend more than one night at this lovely hotel because you will need at least 2 full days to take in all of this lovely town. We loved the location being just blocks from the main attractions. Very charming and very helpful staff! Lack of elevator and air conditioning takes it out of the realm of luxury, at least in the hot summer months, but very clean and modern rooms inside a very old building!. Loved everything about this hotel. Large spacious room and large bathroom with L'Occitane toiletries. Staff very helpful. A very relaxing hotel could easily have stayed longer. The bed was comfortable. Rated as a two star hotel but way above that. We book a classic room for one night and were updated to the deluxe room. The deluxe room was superb, clean and comfort. Breakfast was an extra and no on-site parking, although city parking was available 3 minutes walk away (10€ per day). It was difficult to find owing to restrictions concerning signage, which meant we had to drive around the one way system to get back to the street where the hotel is located. The workmen restoring the nearby cloisters start work at 7.30, but since its a very honourable task they are doing, it didnt really bother us too much. Lack of elevator and air conditioning. No lift but not a big issue as the staff would carry the luggage for you. Even though the hotel can provide parking bay (10 eur per day) and not far away from hotel, with all the one way road and narrow street within the old town, it is a bit tricky to park the car. Parking is difficult but there is a public car park near by. It would have been nice to have a little mini-bar or small fridge in the room The buffet breakfast was expensive and more than we would need. It would have been nice to have an express breakfast in the lobby - just coffee and croissants. We went out to local cafes instead. The lack of AC (given that it was July) made the hotel seem a little overpriced. The fan was powerful enough to cool at night, but it kept turning off every 2 hours (somehow the remote got reprogrammed). The only thing I can think of: some of the electric plugs were linked to the light switch, when you turn off the light the plug loses power. Nothing else!. Breakfast coffee could be hotter and better quality. Some ordinary jams to complement the quirky ones. Parking advice poor - there is free parking (although limited) within easy walking distance. The room could use air-conditioning... Room was a bit hot (the air conditioner was actually a ceiling fan) and the shower drain was clogged in our room; however, the staff responded right away and sent a plumber when they couldn't fix it themselves. Very responsive!. Tile in bathroom was very slick. Need to improve housekeeping... No elevator, no airconditioning. There is a modern remote controlled fan on the ceiling which is pretty effective, but air condition would be good (although it is against the hotel eco-policy). If windows are opened during the night the air in the room becomes better but there is some noise from the restaurant that is just below the hotel windows (restaurant closes at midnight). Thes are just minor remarks, the whole impression about the hotel is excellent. The breakfast was too expensive. N/a. The swirly bed head... In a very narrow one way street. Driving a car in the area is "interesting". Nothing. The parking was about 500mtrs from the hotel. Very unhappy about the checking out experience. The person in charge refused to allow me to pay for my stay in cash, a bill in excess of 210 Euros when I presented her with a 500 Euros note. Her allegation was that she did not have access to enough cash for the transaction. I ended up having to go on a fruitless chase for change and paying with a credit card, something I did not wish to do. She was absolutely unyielding. they were doing some building but they say twill soon be done. Parking the car. Stairs with no elevator. Location was difficuklt to find. No onsite parking. Laundered clothes were shrunk. The fact that breakfast wasn't included. No air conditioning, the heat was very oppressive. We had to pay extra for car parking. Air condition was missing.
