  Nice modern rooms, good controllable aircon, quiet. Location was convenient for main road but not too close. Location felt safe and carpark secure- we left our bikes on car with confidence. Beware the Michelin route recommended hotels; one we stayed at enroute was dire, the Ace Hotel however was ex - Look, it wasn't mind-blowing, but it was incredible for the value and location. We were driving from Belgium to Spain, it's *right* off the highway and the price is wonderful with a 24 hour staff. The room was quite clean, though not luxurious at all, and the bed was pretty comfortable, though not with mindblowing linens. All in all, if I just need a place to sleep for a night, I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Reall - Located in a historical cobble stone street in the heart of 18th century Chateauroux, which my GPS struggled to find, this chambre d'hote is perfectly positioned to visit the nearby restaurants and to learn about the history of the town. The room was perfect, large and very comfortable with many books describing the history of the town. The owners were extremely helpful and deserve all the praise they receive through these reviews. I will definitely stop there again.
