La Maison de l'Epousée B&B is a haven of peace just a few minutes away from Abbeville. We used this as a stopover while travelling North to Belgium and what a relaxing place it was. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and much of it home-made. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. We have already recommended the stop to friends and family. If you get the chance to stay here, do not miss it.
所有评语 » We received a lovely welcome from the owner. The room was decorated beautifully, bathroom superb. Unusually for french rooms there was a kettle in the room with a good selection of beverages and dog biscuits for our dog! Breakfast was continental, croissants, bread, ham, cheese and dairy and plenty of it. Overall a very relaxing overnight stay which we will take advantage of next year. Great location for exploring the area; very friendly and accommodating host and hostess. Excellent breakfasts were provided and included with our room; we also enjoyed an excellent dinner prepared by our hosts. The inn is decorated in a whimsical fashion with a theme of birds, which we found fun and interesting. Sylvette who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. She was standing in for her sister in law who was on vacation for two weeks. Her husband ce over to meet us later and we all shared some bubbly. Very nice and friendly people in a very restful spot just outside Abbeville. We had a good welcome even though we were a bit early. The grounds are beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The owner very kindly posted back to us my husband's shirt that he had carelessly left behind! Thank you so much. Recommended. Everything. Comfortable, well equipped room, decorated as if in an alpine ski resort, and nice garden to stroll round or just sit in. Quiet, peaceful location, and good continental breakfast. Not a negative about the inn, but us travelers should be aware that not all places in France accept us credit cards that don't have a special embedded id chip that is standard in France and perhaps in Europe in general. Abbeville isn't the prettiest town in France and there seems to be a lack of eateries. But the location of the B&B is very pretty. Nothing. Bed was a bit soft for us, but that's personal. We did struggle a bit to find it but this was because our sat nav couldn't cope with a newly blocked off road!!. Nothing. Not a thing. A little bit out of the way, and not walking distance to any restaurants/bars. However we were only there for one night so it wasn't a major problem. Cards are not accepted which could have been embarrassing as I do not usually carry alot of cash when travelling. This should be mentioned on the web page. Nothing. hidden away ok with a sat nav. Maybe a guest who has a dog could be better placed in a ground floor bedroom if available. This is not a complaint just a suggestion. There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Directions to the place could be improved to indicate that it is out of town, and should include from town centre as well as from A16. Not the easiest location to find from the main road. Suggest larger hotel sign. Nothing. Nothing. Not much to do in Abbeville. A little difficult to find if you don't have directions, My map showed a road but it is really just a dirt track. Nothing. absolutely nothing!!. nothing. There was nothing to dislike. That it was difficult to find. Very minor point. Needed good internet speed for business purposes, sadly not available. Would gladly pay for additional speed, please, this is not a criticsm.
