  The apartment was clean and well-furnished with many thoughts given to guest comfort. The hosts offered to both meet us at the airport and return us to the airport at a fraction of the cost of a taxi. We were close to the beach and to markets where we could buy food to cook at home or bring on picnics. A further 10-15 mins bus ride to the old city. Bus is also frequent. a local shop is nearby. lot of restuarants nearby to spend a nice lovely evening. Locality was nice. Overall a good experience

  We didn't stay at the pansion, but by accident we neded up having dinner there the first of our four days in Zadar. And, we had the remaining three dinners there as well even though ít was a 10 minute ride from Zadar. Fantastic place - Everything. A delightful place in a beautiful situation. Charming staff. The restaurant was excellent.

  Martina, the proprietor was incredibly helpful. Her family has lived in the immediate area for generations so she is very knowledgeable...hiking times, groceries, etc. The location can't be beat right on the beach and near the national park. Fabulous food including fresh fish cooked outside on a purpose built brick oven with hotplate. Hotel owner went out of her way to accommodate our needs.   The owners were lovely. The studio we stayed in was clean, wi-fi working perfectly, so was the air conditioning. Very plesant place to stay, with modern bathroom and furnishings and terrace. Quiet location, only 5 mins to good restaurant, 10 to beach. Easy buses to town. Only used taxi once (from airport 200 kuna).

  We loved everything about this hotel. We had a two bed appartment with a lovely patio and sea view. Breakfast was very good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.   A good place to stay for a couple of nights, nothing too fancy. It is located close to the highway and keeps you away from the downtown traffic. Few minutes away from the old town by a car. A taxi costs 40 kuna per direction, which is like 5 euro. Rooms are clean, quiet and well equiped.   We weren't sure what it would be like staying in a shared villa but we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Villa Clara. The villa itself was lovely, clean, spacious, very modern. We had the two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large balcony and a separate large living room on the top floor which was great as it felt very private. Ellis, the hostess was very friendly and very knowledgeable abou - The owner of the property (Elice) is a lovely lady and very helpful and genuine. The house is absolutely beautiful and far enough out of Zadar to avoid noise and crowds but you would need to have a car really for this place. The top floor (family suite) ensures you have plenty of privacy if you need it and you never feel like you are intruding on her home.
