  We stayed for 2 nights after doing Sail Croatia for 7 days. The owners were very friendly offering to pick us up from the port, offering a drink on arrival and, noticing that we had been travelling, provided a washing basin so we could clean some clothes.   Family owened, very friendly and acoomodating, knowledgeable. They let us leave our luggage on check out day so we could walk around town for a few hours before our ferry left late afternoon.   Just returned from our 2-week holiday in Croatia. We stayed in this fantastic Villa Verica with our 2 small children. Our apartment was big and specious with a lovely sea view balcony and was located on the ground floor, which we preferred. Everything was excellent!! The staff were friendly and helpful. No washing machin - The reception is in Hotel Milenji which facilities can be used by guests in Vila Verica. Receptionist was very helpful and was very fluent in english. We stayed in a studio on the 4th flour with a small balcony with side view to the beach. The beach is right in front of the hotel. The centre with shops and market is in walking distance. We enjoyed very much our stay and the localization was excellent.

We had a fully equipped kitchen, a seaview from the balcony, very modern bathroom. Just walk down a few flights of stairs to the beach.   What a great little find! The rooms had everything you could ask for - kitchen, TV, outside area, air con and even a washing machine! The apartment was small but really had everything you need and was very homeley. The location was great about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Split. Highly recommended. - The owner and his family are very nice. The apartment was nicely furnished (stereo, DVD player, DVD's, knick-knacks from around the world). The owner left 2 beers, a bottle of orange juice, and a bottle of water in the refigerator and informed me that they were for me- I thought this was a nice touch. I had problems finding the apartment, and the owner came to meet me. The location is good- about a 7-10 minute walk to the old city section (Diocletian's Palace) of Split.

  Tatjana is very sweet; she drove me to the bus station when I left and offered me breakfast in her apartment one day. She would have picked me up when I arrived at the ferry but we didn't connect then. Bit of a walk from the ferry terminal with luggage but ask her to pick you up and she will.
