  The staff on reception and dining room where very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating. We have been there before and were not disappointed with the second visit.   The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. The view from the balcony is great. 10 min walk to the very center. It is located a bit further than other hotels and just a bit away from the road which is good. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection.
