Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

Daniela and her husband were awesome! Super friendly and great with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Best location possible, right near beach and restaurants. Clean, good view. We had the room with our own bathroom which was nice. There is a kitchen that you can use and tables outside to eat/drink. We will definitely go back here.

cheaper than those in the other very touristy places we stayed in -

We were delighted with the apartment, it was spacious with a lovely balcony with views of the bay. The shower room was modern and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Villa Olea for ten days. Sandra, the owner, and her family, have been incredibily helpful and nice. The appartment was clean, spacy and very confy for my little family (we have a small son of 2 years). Good location just outside the main entrance to the old town (so you avoid having to go up the steps with luggage!). The apartment was a good size, cool and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the as others have noted the shower cubicle was small. It was actually fine, but if you were overweight then it could be an issue.

Just outside walled city (still in historical Korcula), half-way between city center and bus station (useful to explore other towns on the island). Short walk to ferry terminals as well.
